Shotshell loose crimp

Defect: Shotshell Loose Crimp

Causes:

The press not set up correctly.

After time some shells just won't hold a crimp.

Solutions:

Check press set-up.

Disassemble and discard the hull.

Open up the mouth/empty the shot and reload shot again.

If not leaking shot: Place in a misfit bag and shoot. Then discard the hull.

If leaking shot: Drip a little candle wax over the mouth.

Place in a misfit bag and shoot. Then discard the hull.
