Shot
 
Shot is the payload that is discharged from the shell. Shot can be made of lead, steel, bismuth or other materials. Different size shot can be loaded for various targets or game. Payloads can vary from 7/8 of an ounce to 1.375 ounces. It is DANGEROUS to increase the payload of any load data or interchange data. Changing shot size and not payload weight bears less risk, but not recommended.
